I’m Shannon, the baker, maker, and creative brain behind Mountain Roots Canine Kitchen and Good Dog Bribes.

Based in the Colorado mountains, I create small-batch dog treats with real ingredients, plenty of personality, and two extremely opinionated quality-control specialists named Flower and Vinny.

Mountain Roots grew from a love of making things by hand, feeding the creatures I love well, and creating something a little different from what you find on an ordinary pet-store shelf. From everyday bribes and training bites to birthday treats and special batches, everything here is made with care for good dogs and the people wrapped around their paws.

Around here, the batches are small, the mountains are close, the dogs are definitely involved, and that’s kind of the point.
